Custom Door Sign Production Process for Hotel and Apartment Projects
How We Handle Custom Door Sign Projects
Hotel and apartment door sign projects often involve many room numbers, sign types, finishes, and packing requirements. Our custom door sign production process is designed to identify missing details early, confirm the product before bulk production, and keep each project organized through shipment.
1. Requirement and Drawing Review
Send the project information currently available, such as drawings, reference images, room schedules, quantities, dimensions, materials, finishes, ADA details, and mounting requirements.
We review the project scope and identify any information still needed for an accurate quotation or production plan.
2. Engineering and Production Check
Before production, we review whether the proposed structure, material, thickness, finish, tactile details, and mounting method are practical to manufacture and suitable for the intended mounting method.
If a detail needs adjustment, we discuss it before the order moves forward. The purpose is to reduce avoidable changes after bulk production has started.
3. Sample Production and Approval
Samples are typically completed in 3-5 days after the sample details are confirmed.
A sample can be used to review dimensions, proportions, materials, surface finishes, colors, logo reproduction, room-number appearance, tactile details, and mounting construction.
4. Bulk Production
Typical bulk production takes 15-25 days, depending on quantity, construction, finish, and project complexity.
Production may involve CNC engraving, metal or non-metal laser cutting, UV printing, acrylic processing, painting, electroplating, brushing, metal finishing, tactile production, welding, and final assembly.
5. Quality Check and Room-List Review
Checks are selected according to the product and project requirements. They may include dimensions, overall construction, surface finish, color, room numbers, sign text, tactile details, mounting holes, hardware, accessories, quantity, and packing labels.
Where electrical components are included, the finished product is powered on and checked before packing.
For hotel and apartment projects, signs are checked against the available room schedule or door list before packing. This combines product inspection with project-list verification.
6. Sorting and Protective Packing
Each sign is protected according to its material, finish, and shipping method. Packaging may include protective film, foam, cartons, or wooden crates.
Project orders can be sorted by room number, floor, product type, project area, carton number, or other agreed instructions. Clear sorting reduces unnecessary work when the signs reach the installation site.
7. Shipment and Replacement Support
After packing, we prepare the shipment information and support the agreed international shipping arrangement.
When the original project information is available, we can review later replacement or additional room-number orders. Availability, color matching, and timing are confirmed when the new requirement is received.
