Custom Door Sign Project FAQ for Contractors and Distributors

This FAQ answers common questions from signage contractors, distributors, trade companies, and project teams sourcing custom hotel door signs, apartment room-number signs, ADA-style tactile signs, and related room-identification signage.

What information should I send for a quote?

Send any available drawings, reference images, room schedules, quantities, dimensions, material or finish preferences, tactile or braille requirements, mounting details, delivery country, and required delivery date. If some information is not ready, we can first identify what is still needed.

Can you manufacture signs from our drawings?

Yes. We can review customer drawings, specifications, or reference images and check whether the proposed structure, material, finish, and mounting method are suitable for production.

Can you provide a sample before bulk production?

Yes. Samples are typically completed in 3-5 days after the sample details are confirmed. Samples can be used to review size, material, finish, color, tactile details, and mounting construction.

What is your minimum order quantity?

MOQ starts from 1 piece for samples or custom door sign orders. This supports sample approval, small custom orders, replacements, and project additions.

How long does bulk production take?

Typical bulk production takes 15-25 days. The final lead time depends on quantity, construction, finish, approval status, and project complexity.

Can you support a room schedule or door list?

Yes. A room schedule, door list, or BOQ helps organize room numbers, quantities, sign types, and packing labels. For hotel and apartment projects, the available list is used during production review and packing preparation.

Do you manufacture ADA-style tactile and braille signs?

Yes. ADA-style tactile and braille signs can be manufactured according to approved drawings and project requirements. Compliance-sensitive projects should provide the applicable local requirements or approved drawings. We support manufacturing details but do not replace the local architect, code consultant, or inspector.

What materials and finishes are available?

Options may include stainless steel, aluminum, acrylic, wood-look materials, printed surfaces, engraved details, brass-look finishes, painting, brushing, polishing, and custom combinations. Recommendations depend on the design, environment, budget, mounting method, and required appearance.

What mounting methods can you support?

Mounting options depend on the sign construction and wall condition. Mounting details can be provided for approval when drawings and product structure are confirmed. This is production support and does not mean that EZD Sign provides local installation services.

How are the signs checked before packing?

Depending on the product, checks may cover dimensions, surface finish, color, room numbers, tactile details, mounting details, accessories, quantity, and packing labels.

How are signs protected for shipment?

Signs are protected according to their material and finish. Packaging may include protective film, foam inserts, cartons, or wooden crates. The packing method is confirmed according to the order and shipping requirements.

Can signs be packed by room number or floor?

Yes. Project orders can be sorted by room number, floor, product type, project area, carton number, or agreed customer instructions when required by the project.

Can we reorder replacement or additional signs later?

Yes. When the original project information is available, we can review replacement or additional room-number orders. Availability, color matching, and timing are confirmed when the new requirement is received.

Do you work directly with our end customer?

Our role is to support signage contractors, distributors, trade companies, and project suppliers as a manufacturing partner. We do not position ourselves as a retail brand competing for your end customers.

Where can I see your factory and production process?

See our Factory Partner page for production capabilities, ISO 9001 information, and B2B positioning. Our Production Process page explains project review, sampling, manufacturing, quality checks, sorting, and packing.
